“Like a horse facing the wind”… A long time ago, a friend of mine told me that a horse will face into the wind when a storm was approaching.

I suspected that this wasn’t true, but not being a horse person, I took it to mean that it’s better to face into a problem than try and avoid it.

That part made sense.

I know from personal experience, that if you are in a boat and a big wave is coming, you turn the boat into the wave to meet it head on, it will be a wild ride, but it will keep you from capsizing.

I guess it means the same thing.

Cinch up the life vest,

And turn into the storm
